Went out on a very short hunt to a old school site from the mid 1800s and this popped out from around 6" or so.. lots of iron out there but in patches though..

Was using the round hf coil for the very first time and the
Button was a very repeatable signal (great tone)
from every direction and the vdi read 77 solid...
Not sure how old it is but its a very cool looking button. The settings I was using:

14kz
93 sens
Full tones
Disc 1.0
Reactivity 3
Tx power 2
Silencer -1
Audio response 4
No notch
Iron audio 0
Manual ground balance(pumping)

Thanks dirtlooter... Yeah i was stoked when I found it... heard that the site was hunted out but i dont think so... especially with the hf coil.. going to try 28 kHz this weekend over at the site along with calabashes pitch program...

good luck, the HF coils are game changers in themselves but CD's pitch program is awesome in the iron. don't be afraid to change the freqs over targets, or even programs. so easy to do with the Deus. hope to see more of your finds soon. DL
