Found this button a while back...

Hey guys, I found this button sometime ago, and didnt ever get it posted up. The information I have is as follows:
1. It could be a citizens button.
2. It was found in a very old park here in East Tennesse.
3. I appears to have had the golden guilt on it at some point. I think this because it appears like there is some left.
4. It is very light.
5. It does have the shank intact.
6. The pattern on the front is visible on the back side. Like... Through the button itself.

Dont know how much that helps, but just figured it would put us that much closer.

At first Gabe I thought it may have been insignia for the Electronic Engineers Institute. I dug one a few years back, but the more I look at yours, I think, early 1900's civilian dress, buddy.

Sweet! Is there any way to find out where it came from, or what article or kind of clothing it came off of?.... like a website or something?
