looks like part of a lightning rod and a closure thing for a coin purse.

could the bottom photo be a piece of a bell? and the little ball piece part of it too??

I would agree with a chunk of a bell, as there are visible lines where it was turned on a lathe, a step not needed for other ornaments, but important for the acoustics of a bell.
