Hey everyone,
As a lot of you know, I was in Canada for work last week and really wanted to find a King George V silver coin. The stars didn't align and the ground in Calgary was too hard to dig.
I did some sidewalk strips and a small yard permission in my Seattle neighborhood this weekend and I did find a King George V, although it's just a penny unfortunately. Still a cool find.
Managed 8 Wheats one of them being a semi-key 1913-S.
This little gold colored coin that rang up in the gold range had me going for a hot minute. I thought I'd found my first gold coin! Turns out it's just a Swiss 5 francs coin from 1981.
Here are the totals:
The tally:
-1 KGV Penny (34)
-8 Wheats (13S, 19S, 20S, 27D, 28S, 40S, 52D, 57D)
Gonna hit a new permission with my brother and a friend on Friday. Hopefully that gets me back on the silver train, I'm on a 4 hunt drought.
Happy hunting all!
