I guess if I didn't enjoy MD'ing it might be funny. To me it tries to
make us look like a bunch of fools. Most people don't understand
why we enjoy this hobby as it is. You think there won't be more
harrassment on the beaches after this? Sometimes Budweiser
commercials are as tastleless as the swill they call beer.

Well this commercial has been out probably 2 years and I haven't seen or heard any ill effects from it.

I find it funny.

Plus, if people really believe that that is all we find each and every time out, then that brings fewer people into the hobby and leaves more goodies for the rest of us!

That is great, thanks for posting it, I personally think it is hilarious.

When I'm on the beach hunting, I get 100 positive comments about the hobby for every mocking one. I constantly have people asking me about it and many say they have always wanted to try, or wives saying they think it would be a good hobby for their retiring husband.
