Myself and Batch had a good hunt this morning. The finds were not as plentyfull as I thought they would be. Spring is here and so is the grass. Some of the places I was planning on being real good were to grass covered. We hit three different spots, none of which were real hot but all had potential. It is always good to get out of the house. I found a lead horseman with no head ,one musket ball, three coins. A 1924 2 phenning,a 1919 ten phenning and was surprised by a 1943 French one Franc. It may have been a souvenir from a German soldier. All of France on this side was under German control during the war. I also found a fairly modern bent spoon and a pretty old heart pin of some sort. I am still trying to get into a vein of real old coins but no luck thus far. I was very surprised to pull a silver ring out of the ground. That is always a plus. I still have yet a gold ring. Since I have been here I have found four silver rings one gold colored ring(junk) and a brass ring but I can not find a gold one. There is always tomorrow. I am also putting a pic of some kind of lead seal that I found a while back and forgot to post. Hope everyone is doing well and HH and happy Easter.
