Hello all,
I found a stone that didn't appear to be a naturally occurring shape a few weeks ago while digging on my property. I just put it aside not knowing what it was. Today, I found another of similar shape. In taking a closer look, it appears to me that one may be an axe-type of tool, while the other looks more like a bludgeon type instrument...maybe a weapon. The one in the forground I found first, then the other. I found these on my own property in an area known to have been inhabited by Mohegans and Pequots. I'm wondering if these go back even further than that. The smaller one is about 6 inches long, the other 7 inches long or so and quite heavy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Mark
