my neighbors move a few weeks ago and the house is still empty so I asked them if I could look around their backyard with my detector and they said I could, I found this ring, what kind of ring is it? The first 2 are how I found it the next 2 are after I cleaned it up a little.

P.S. The darnit part is that our town fair is this weekend and I asked the head people if I could come in and detect after it is all over and they said no :'(. This year is the 116th year they have had it.

boojagirl, that is a very nice ring you have found there. I am sure there must be more on that property for you to dig. Sorry about the fair ground, but don't get dispondant there are many more places.

God bless

After the fair is over, ask the property owner (or town council, whoever owns the land) if you can detect it. You might get a different answer.

Back in the 70s there were a whole bunch of different styles and types by a group of artists who used a lot of different metals in layers and would cut away parts in designs to make these type of rings and jewelry trinkets.
I believe the style was called Art Carved

That is what it looks like.

sometimes dropping by after work hours and making $omekind of arrangement with the not $o well paid security guard will get you into good spots.

I want to look and see if they have this kind of ring on ebay but I am not sure what to call it, I typed in Ring Bands but they show a whole bunch of different kinds, what kind of ring would you call it?
