Found Some Sort of Good Luck Token??? Help

I found this token yesterday. It is made of copper I think and it is about the size of a 50 cent piece. It appears to be some kind of good luck token. It is in bad shape and I don't know how to clean it up. The picture won't be much help. Around the outside edge it says, BRING THEE health, money, love, good luck, happiness,. It has some etchings on the inside of the circle but I can't make them out. Any help would be appreciated. Any idea of how old. It was about 8-10 inches deep.

Probably a St.Patricks day souvenir token,seems to be an Irish type of thing.Just my 2-cents worth. .Could be old,might not be too old.Clean it up a little and post a pic..Soak it in some olive oil for a few days it'll help a little,maybe enough to make out some more details on it.8-10 inches down usually means old.
