Found some rare crystals this morning

Woke up this morning to find billions of frozen water crystals all over my neighborhood. This is pretty rare in my part of NC. The stuff was white and very cold. I had to wear gloves when removing it from my car.

You have more snow than we do in northern Michigan. On the bright side I don't think you have 2' of frost in the ground.

We got about 8 inches here in Tennessee. It is rare for us to get that much.

We had a total of 8 hours of snow in Portland in December.. about 4 inches.. then came rain and gone it was.. have not seen snow since.

I see that the snow disappointed you, it wasn't 6 or 7 feet deep so you could get out there with the metal detector and find your car.
