Went to my neighbors farm today and hunted an old house place. Dug where the old cellar was and found an old food jar and butt plate and alot of rusty iron and broken glass. Then I went to where the old house sat and dug a 1910 wheat penny, a sewing thimble that says STAR BRAND SHOES ARE BETTER and some sort of buckles. I also dug a small button with a train on it. All in all a pretty good day.
Thanks for looking, peanut

Love the butt plate!!!I dug 6 of hose Star Brand thimbles at a site that seen occupancy from the 1850's-1940's,I think they dated to the first part of the 1900's?
