found some buttons and a flashlight

my buddy called and told me about a place behind his grandmothers house. he said it had to be a hundred years old or better, so i said i'll come over and check it out...got there and i believe it is much older..the foundation is rocks at each corner with no type of under pinning..ill get pics when i go back..
here is some buttons i found..was wondering if anyone could tell me something about them..i cannot find any markings on them.. thanks

I don't know about the buttons,
but the round ring thingy with the teeth around the outside
is a synchronizer from a manual transmission (car or truck) should be brass or bronze,
it looks kind of small so it is probably from a car maybe 30's to 50's, just a guess at the age though.

Or is that one of a series of bands from an old bicycle Bendex brake?

The other button looks like a covertable top of side curtain snap.
