Found silver

I went to the beach trying to collect the donations that the wonderful people during memorial day unwittingly gave up. Here is the 2 day total. 7Q, 9D, 1N, 11P all clad. 1 plastic kids pirate treasure token, 1 brand new Volkswagen Beetle pull and go car(the kind you pull backwards to load the clock spring and let go and watch it go across the room.

And my first ring. It is a mans ring size 11.5. It's a purity or chastity ring. The inscription (----|-- 1THES4:3-4 --|----) those are supposed to be crosses. I still don't have my computer up and running or I would post a pic.

Looks like I am hopelessly lost. I guess there are worst ways to spend my time.

Can someone tell me the difference on types of silver. Sterling, 925 etc.

The ring sounds great but if your computer isnt running how are you posting? Cmon lostlugnut lets see those pics. Most silver marked .925 is considered pure with .999 being the purest. I believe a small amount of nickel makes up the impurity. .999 would be fine ignots cast for sale like gold ignots.HH Great find.
