Hi all, I took the wife and kids to the beach today looking for sharks teeth. I was looking around when something caught my eye, I could tell right away it wasn't a shell. My guess is that it's part of a plate, judging by the curvature at the bottom it may be part of a small saucer. It's surprisingly thick and has some type of enamel coating. All the edges are rounded and smooth and I can only guess that's from being in the ocean for a while. I know it's a total long shot, but what are the chances this was from ship wreck?! Found around low tide and will still about 4-5 inches in the water.

Thanks!
David
