Well, working a large hobby.

While checking on one of my apiaries, (bee yards) that sits 30 yards from a huge asparagus patch. I decide to look and see if any was coming up yet. And there this sat.
At first I thought it had a broken base since there was a fracture that could have resulted from that happening. But after cleaning it off and closer inspection I appears both sides of the stem had been thinned the same, and it could be complete or possibly rebased.

Great find and I have some points that may have been fractured during manufacturing and stem was completed at an angle. Keep your eye on that field, venture out further if are allowed or have time. That can't be the only point or tool in that field.

Nice find , certainly makes work better when you can find a point

Thanks arrow86!! Beekeeping is way more fun than work. I keep my apiaries along a certain long running creek that come out of Minnesota , and there is probably 4 foot of dirt to search beneath them, and many acres surrounding. I’m always looking down!

Firstly, bravo for keeping bees. They are under such stress these days - we've had no bees in area so far this year - and need all the love and help they can get.

Second, that's an very nice little point. I have special affection for the 'odd' ones.

Third, asparagus is nutritious, delicious and needs hardly any looking after once established. Also makes your pee smell funny.

lol, reminds of when a friend came in our local hang out for coffee one morning telling us he was going to the doctor.
He said his pee was kinda green and smelled funny. He was pretty concerned. We asked if he had asparagus for dinner and sure enough, that was the issue. He was pretty relieved.

Thanks out of time!

The best thing I’ve ever seen come out of an asparagus patch! (Not a fan of asparagus.)

The only way I can eat it is pan fried in butter with a little garlic, and it’s delicious. You should give it a try that way.

works for me. I don't know what I like better eating asparagus or finding points.Wait, yes I do, lol Good job, had a nice phone visit with our friend to the west.

Thats great Jon! I know your calls are appreciated!

Hope you find time to get out there again!
