Found on Treasure Coast Beach

So this was a surface hit today on the beach. Looks and feels like a heavy rock. Smooth and rounded with a slight concave on the back. It appears to have shiny specs throughout as well. Hits strong on the PI...have no clue what it could be. Anyone ever find anything like this before?

Hotrock. Probably from a ballast pile.

I wonder if it could be some Silver ore being shipped back to Spain on a Galleon that went down in a Hurricane??!!
