Got out dug a couple of holes on the edge of a lake here in fla. with permission, got the stem point first and than the paleo looking point. Now it seems to be made from a unheat treared material and has an obvious flute. What are some opinions out there, the guy with me thinks its a square knife,I'm leaning toward paleo myself. My buddy also found this little red corner notched kirk.

Great hunt today. You guys did well. Nice looking material. Looking forward to some hunts myself :hello:

I'd lean toward preform on that first one. Of course, it can also be called a knife too. I think a square knife has 4 worked sides.

Thanks Newt ,I meant to say square base knife. I know square = 4 corners. Brain fart!
