The What-Is-it forum's atmosphere is generally more "scholarly" than other T-Net categories, but it too has its Humor contingent. Your finds which you say "ring low silver on my ATPro" are of course not teeth. They appear to be either a metal-based concretion or perhaps metal "slag," or coal-clinkers.

They are a pain in the butt if you're beach hunting! What I have been told and believe they are is flakes off of the numerous drain pipes up and down the coast line. Sometimes they are brittle enough to crumble in your hand. Happy New Year!
