Welcome to TNet.

Sorry to say, it's a modern cast novelty replica of a Spanish cob coin. They're found surprisingly often. I sometimes wonder if they're not purposely tossed on the beach as a joke, assuming someone would eventually find it and think it's real.

My wife and best friend, unbeknownst to me, would sit on the porch and throw pennies(and beer tabs) in the yard while I was detecting. Feel the love.

Identify it or them? Looks like to different shapes to me....can't tell anything from your blurry pics.....need clear pics, especially of the edge.....obviously the odds are its a cast piece(s).

No need for better photos. His photos have all the detail needed for such an obvious fake--all the tell-tale signs are very easy to see. It's a cast novelty coin, a replica. Had it been a fake meant to deceive, rather than one made as a souvenir, then better quality images would have been necessary, but that's not the case here.

It is a repo, sold and given away by the thousands. The lip around the edge is a dead giveaway.

The point on the better photos is dont post junk photos....either of you have a link to this exact design? I'd like to buy a few...I like the design opposite of the cross
