Here we go again -- same song, umpteenth verse:
I realize you are new here... but, dang. You didn't provide any info about its size. As seen in your photos, it could be anywhere between 1 inch long and 18 inches long.
Please Read Before Posting Items in "What Is It?"

Also, you only showed us its front. Need to see its back too.

Lacking any size info, all I can do is guess that it looks a lot like a furniture drawer-pull escutcheon.

Can you give us anymore info?

I wish I could. Im new to the metal detecting game. Today was my second time ever doing it. This piece I know nothing about. I haven't found any writing on it anywhere.

Four inches length is right in the ball park for a "typical" furniture drawer-pull escutcheon... so I'm sticking with my guess that that's what it is. Drawer-pull escutcheons had two holes, for the actual pull-handle to fit into. One such hole is visible on the right of your find, and other could be hidden under the rust-glob on the left. A photo of its back would probably show whether a second hole is present.

Meanwhile, here's a link to a website which sells drawer-pull handles with an escutcheon (which is sometimes called a "backplate." Antique Drawer Pulls and Kitchen Handles | Antique Hardware

Judging by the 1 pic, I would say it's the back plate to a brass Victorian furniture pull. I can see on the right were there is a partial circle where the handle would have attached. WELCOME to the forum! :) Breezie
