✅ SOLVED Found on Battlefield

Found this on an ACW battlefield. However, nothing about it screams Civil War to me. However, I would like to see if the experts here have seen anything like it before. It looks more 1920-1930 to me. It looks to be a brass or copper item with "KNAP" inside a bell or "KNAR" inside a bell. The back of it looks like it might have been a pin of some sort. Any help appreciated!

I dont know what it but its from the Belknap Hardware & Manufacturing Company, Louisville KY.
