Yes, it was private property and yes, I had permission.
I'm pretty sure the smashed copper at top right is a percussion cap, and the conical bullets are modern. I'm clueless about the rest of it.
Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What appears to be a percussion cap looks to me like the copper jacket from a modern bullet that was peeled back when it was shot. Great finds...d2

Thanks, D2. I found something very similar on another site that was ID'd as a percussion cap. I'm normally a beach hunter, but I got a chance at a maybe Civil War site, so I thought I'd give it a go. Still not sure if I found anything old or not. LOL!

Well Sandy your in luck. 2 of your bullets are civil war miniballs and you have a few musket balls. Nice finds.

D2 is all over it, that is a copper jacket. Percussion caps are smaller than that, but look similar. see attached pic.

Show us better pics of the 2 brown bullets on the left of the first pic, the ones with the concave bases, a diameter would be nice also. They look like CW bullets to me, but seem a bit small, as I expect them be larger than .5" in diameter.... .58" is the 58 caliber that I'd expect to see.

I see 2 dropped musket balls, and 1 fired one. They could be CW. I do not see the Minie balls that Diggerkid sees. I suspect he is looking at the 2 concave base bullets, without noting the small diameter indicated by the ruler. I also see lead deer slugs in the mix.

JMHO. Nice finds and good luck to you sir.

The percussion cap you saw probably wasn't 3/8" across the base.

I agree with bullet jacket.

Yep I was talking about them. I didn't even look at the size of them. If he can take pics of then up close we should be able to ID them.

Thanks ya'll. I'll try to get better pics tomorrow with a real camera instead of my cellphone. I'll try to get all the dirt off them too. So the round balls and the brown cone shaped bullets are maybe Civil War? My dad said the brown ones were modern, but he's certainly no expert. BTW, I'm a girl. LOL!
