Found myself another flamethrower today. mitlere abwehr F.L. 42

Went into one of the old coastal fortresses today, and found a german flamethrower close by.. Sadly it is beyond repair, so i just took some photos of it and left it were i found it.

These were not ever around here .... had to be scary, which will burn completely when you only expect a Mauser bullet.
lend me your lighter to smoke a cigarette ?

I've never seen one of those before. Great find! I lived in Luxemburg and Germany in the early 60's and WW2 relics were everywhere then.lol It wasn't that rare for someone to be killed or badly injured when they found and mis-handled munitions. Looking forward to seeing your next war relic find.

# crusader# -The other flamethrower i found some time ago was in beautiful condition. This flamethrower was only covered with grass and leafs, thats why it is badly damaged.
