Went back to button hill today and found some great buttons, check out the post in a bit. I got this screaming signal dug down a totally didn't expect to see this in the hole. A big 10k 1941 class ring! There is no High School name on it but it does have FJM on the inside of the band. May be near impossible to find the owner. Maybe after some research I can figure out which school it came from then go from there. Still pretty pumped about my day. Thanks for looking and HH!

Dang - that's a BEAUTY!

If there are two tiny holes in the stone, then a crest from the school was attached there. (My Dad's from 1938 is like that). Go back and search for that tiny crest. Might be a ghost signal but maybe you'll get lucky! Kind of like this ring in the middle:

Congratulations!!! :occasion14:

BEAUTY - guy would have been born in 1933
if you can find the hole - might want to sift it for the emblem

now that's a nice goldie .....hope my first gold is like that one ....CONGRATS !!

Amazing!! Congrats..you gotta love that feeling when you see it in the ground and there is NO doubt about it being gold.

That's a sweet ring. I dug a huge 1939 university of Pittsburgh class ring this spring. First hole I probed with the dx1 paid for itself on its first target. You just never know what's gonna pop up.

she's a beaut for sure! congrats

My favorite color is ruby red. Great find, possibility could be other rings in area close by the one you found, maybe girls class ring? I would be looking some more!!!

My grandmother's brother graduated from Michigan State University in 1941 and he is still alive at 93 years old. So if it is a High School ring chances are the owner is not alive.

It does have a nice look to it though. It is definitely a keeper. Congrats.

Doing some research now to try and find a possible school, university it came from.

That is a really nice ring. Looks almost to big to be a high school ring. I found a 1951 class ring a few weeks back and was lucky enough to find the owner. He is in his eighties now and lost it 64 years ago. Needless to say, he was ecstatic. I wish you luck in tracking down the owner or maybe even a family member.

It has
Kcst & Baird DJRA TONE
in the inside of the band.

Chances are he was in WW2, and came home, and lost it soon thereafter, judging by the wear.

Kings crown Shakespeare troupe at Colombia university maybe?
