Great finds. Hey... im no expert but have you tried right clicking on your photos, selecting "open with", scroll to "Paint", the reducing the image size while in there? Just a thought.

It's donnaha tip, something you see on woodland and mississippian triangular arrowpoints. I think that's what you found but it looks like a Hamilton which is more of a southeast type. Your Madisons and unnotched Cahokias have more of a straight base? Nice find.

not trying to keep my post going any longer than it should, but I cant find much on donnaha except for the east coast, and I live in west central illinois. I have a few cahokia points and they dont look much like what I found. the only thing I thought it resembled was a dalton.I just checked all arrowheads found in illinois and nothing really resembled it.

A Donnaha tip is a pinched, super-sharp tip to the point, which your point clearly exhibits. I have seen Donnaha tips sparingly on Woodlland points, but I also have found a pristine, undeniable Early Archaic point in Northern Pennsylvania with this feature.

That is a lovely point, BTW.

Dustin - cool find. I'm in your same area, roughly. I don't know what point type that is. Obviously the base suggests Dalton, but not exactly. The resharpening and the tip are certainly not typical of Dalton, though also not impossible. The point may be Dalton but if so it's a very unusual variant. Now that I've effectively said nothing useful....either way it's a neat piece and a good find.
