Found my first buckle today can anyone help identify it?

Hi mate, and welcome to Tnet :hello:, your buckle looks like late 19th century to early 20th century horse harness buckle. The big guys will confirm or deny ;D

I did some aerial images of that area from 1930s to 2011 ,in that area there should not have been any horses ,it was kinda in the woods
there was nothing there except in the 1930s image a small group of houses .But you just never know !!
I will keep on digging LOL

Welcome! ;D You can use a link like that and make your pic appear right in the thread by adding the image tags to the beginning and end of the link. Click the camera icon above the smilies and these will show up [ img][ /img] - put your link address for your pic in between - like this: [ IMG]http://i54.tinypic.com/1496mj4.jpg[ /IMG](I added a space after the first [ to enable the language to post here) - and it will show like this:

1496mj4.jpg

fyi- when I used your link the image was too large so I uploaded it again to Tinypic and resized it there to "messageboard")
