Way ta go Zeke!!! You need to go back!!!

Nana ;)

It was my 2nd time detecting there. I found a wheatie and a few odds and ends the first time. Theres alot of old outbuildings that Im going to look around next time I get over there.

Heres a couple of more pics of the compact. I just wish the top wasnt caved in and the hinge broke. The mirror on the inside is also broke.

Congrats on the Mercury! Those are one of my most favorite coins!

I found a compact bottom EXACTLY like the one you have posted here. I figured that is what it was, but your pictures answered the question for me! Thanks for posting!

Happy Hunting!

Nice finds, love the old compacts!

That trailer thingy,

I have the "exact" same one!

I found it about 2 or 3 months back,

same color and everything! lol

I'll post a pic later for comparison!

Somehow I knew it was a 1944. That number has been popping up for me every little but for over a month now. It was also the yr. I was born! I think I'll go bet on the lottery. Nice find.JIM

I agree on both....Nice finds.....And you need to go back!

Sounds like a great place to be detecting to me

Good luck
