Garrett 400
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Found near the front door of the farmhouse my Great Great Grandparents owned and likely the same house my Great Great Great Grandparents owned also.
I was metal detecting for family heirlooms and only found this…
The Lincoln cent is for size reference only.
The item is non magnetic and heavy for it’s size. Does not seem to be soft like lead.
I believe the farm was established right after the Civil War.

Now for my guesses, pewter button? Token? Bale seal? Coin?
Unable to make out any markings.

I will be embarrassed if this is just some knockout. But I don’t think it is.
