The brass piece is a ramrod thimble from a flintlock or percussion pistol or rifle..........nice find.

Sweet! Thanks guys...whats this heavy metal gun that seems old....looks like it was more than a toy in 1800s perhaps?

Based on its diminutive size, I'd say this is most likely a toy cap gun. :icon_scratch:

From cleaning it up is there a hole in the bottom of the bowl?

Had a few of these mini toy guns.

They are early 1900s.
