We will see what the experts say but as I said in the other post,I found the exact one and yes it is a cap gun :thumbsup:

TNRM, It looks like a cast iron "Echo" cap gun by Stevens. They were made between 1920 to 1930. The Stevens Co. made 2 different styles of these cap guns during that period, but both were basically the same shape. It was a single shot cap gun and used Mammoth Caps. This is my opinion looking at it caked with rust and dirt. Fun find! Breezie
