Looks like some type of ancuent coin. it looks like it has a little bit of paint on it and it is very thin

I did a silver test on it with silver acid, an it came up as either fine silver or 925. looks more like a bright red so im leaning towards fine silver

Are both sides raised images, or is this a stamped piece of metal. Either way, same image on both sides. I can make out a dragon sitting on top of a helmeted head, almost oriental in appearance with the neck flap.

it is stamped, one side is raised one side is indented

I found this listing for several 1" C1900 Ormolu mounts with a Roman Head and it looks identical. I don't like to use sale sites as references, but it's a good starting point for more research sometimes.
