Found in back yard, Bullet?UPDATE FOUND THE REAL THING!Haha

To funny went back out yesterday to dig my lovely yard up some more and found a 30-06 shell around the same area of the one I thought was a shell. Just had to post cause I found it kind of funny. Also Found around the other side of the house part of a toy gun...



Have to ask help once again...Dug this up just a while ago in the back yard. Thought hey found an old screw driver, cleaned it off a bit and then seen it look very close to a large bullet, asked the old man and hes not sure either.

OH! and it is stamped with a P inside of a triangle(is a diamond, not triangle)..the number 3...also thought one of them air things for a pellet gun??

I don't know what it is but it's not a "bullet". I think you meant cartridge. Saw one similar in a post awhile back and I think it was some kind of pressure test thingy? Monty

Thanks..I looked at the other one on the link and they are the same..Mine also has an S on side very hard to see, looks like it has been scraped in not like the other stamped letters. Something has been snapped off the end now that I look at it again, where the red plastic thing is. I looked at all kinds of shell casings last night on line and not one came close, they all have a top end on them that come off. And wow! some people collect ALOT of scary looking weapons and ammunition..not to mention the interesting web sites I came across.
I'm wondering if they are not markers, for like property lines. Found mine close to the fence between my house and the next. Anyway is kind of neat...Thanks for all the help!

I don't think so. All of the ones I have seen look more like this, and the opening is at teh tapered end.
