Found Gold Ring, Silver, V-nickle, Wheaties and Indians all at the same place

Good evening everyone. Had an exceptional, cold hunt today. Went back to the new house that we just started to hunt and finally hit silver. I knew it was there because we just found 28 Wheaties on the previous hunt. My hunting partner, Randy started off by finding a V nickle. Darn We started to pull out Wheaties around the same area we had concentrated on before, behind the house on top of the sloping hill. Randy then hits a pocket spill. 1935 quarter, 1945 quarter, a 1943 war nickle, a few wheaties and a 1918 merc. I had just missed that a few minutes earlier as we were working the same area .I then pulled out an Indian 1907.Then came the good part..... a nice shinny 12K mans gold wedding band. I did the happy dance. My first gold ring and it fits my finger too Then another Indian 1909, then a Merc then a Rossie. Todays haul 3 Hour hunt: 2 Indians, a Merc, A Rossie, Gold ring and 4 wheat's (1920, 1930, 1944 and a 1918. That's 20 Wheaties for me from this site so far. Randy has nearly the same amount. This place has sure been active. Headed back Tues. and start again. No seateds or barbers for me yet. Thanks for looking Ron

That looks like a beautiful yard/slope for detecting. You guys found a great home site to hunt! Definitely go back again.

Congrats on your finds! A good mix of old coins, and a gold ring to boot!!

That's some nice finds.I always go for the side hills first they seam to have more coins.Congrats

That V-nickel is in nice shape, and that Indian really cleaned up great! Of course it goes without saying that the Merc is gorgeous! Nice ring, too!

Looks like a great place to hunt & you have a good pal to hunt it with. Nice!

Are you sure?

I found an '09S earlier this year, but it had lots of corrosion on it. Too bad...the detail was as good as yours too.

Thanks for the replies and info. I found a 1909 wheatie and now a 1909 indian.... No luck on either one. Maybe Tuesday

Hey Jarhead, that hill is great! Awesome finds. The reason you are getting all that stuff on the hill is because kids used to slide down it in the snow, and roll down it in the summer. Oh yeah, and your camera does a better job than your eyes, that ring is 14k. Look at the pic. Also there is a rare site, that I don't see much anymore....Someone that actually has good knees! He is really kneeling to dig!..........NGE (T)

I was just going to comment about the fact that I don't think I've seen too many items marked 12k. I looked right at the photo and seen the 14k and it still didn't hit me... I 've got to quit getting up so early...

Looks like a great site with a lot more to give... If it was me, I'd be all over those weeds around the porch and the rest of the house... Watch out for snakes though...
