What kind of coin is that?
:dontknow:

"Answer
That is a copper-nickel 500 Pesos coin from Mexico featuring Francisco Madero born, Oct. 30, 1873, Parras, Mex., died Feb. 22, 1913, Mexico City. He was a Mexican revolutionary and president of Mexico (1911-13) who successfully ousted the dictator Porfirio Diaz by temporarily unifying various democratic and anti-Diaz forces. He proved incapable of controlling the reactions from both conservatives and revolutionaries that his moderate reforms provoked, however. The snake perched on a cactus eating a snake is the national symbol.
There were 180 million of these coins minted that year of a design used 1986-92 when a reform made 1000 old pesos equal to one new peso (11c U.S.). Collector value may be about $1-$2 depending on wear. You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins by Krause for pictures, values and lots more interesting info."
