I was bored with all the snow so i was looking in the newspaper in the back section in the adds part. I saw a add for a estate sale in the local area i went to to it was mobbed and hit hard . I asked if there was any old tools she said there some downcellar. I was looking around and spotted a dirty lookin wooden milk crate full of tools and socket's and wrench's so brought it upstairs and asked the lady how much she said $25.00 all had me was $20.00 . I asked can you do better she said $20.00 i gave my $20.00 pick up the milkcrate and headed home. I was taking out the tool's out the milk crate and spotted the small tin contanier i opened it up and was shocked to see a morgan silver dollar i looked at the date it was a 1879 S mint. I was happy to see it was well worth the trip to the estate sale.

That looks like a beauty right there.

Looks like it would be well worth it to have it cleaned and graded. Bet you make more off the tools too. Nice score.

I didn't mean for him to clean it, I meant wherever it was sent to have it graded and slabbed.

But it doesn't need to be cleaned... You want the oxidation on the coin.. even if they clean it..it will be logged as being cleaned..which will hurt the value..

Exllent find.:leprechaun-hat:
