I keep these 2 things that I found around an old railroad station that was there before the civil war. I read that the Union troops marched through there on there way to Parkersburg. There is a lot of iron square nails, brass, washers around it and I didn't keep any but alot of these aluminum cans that are the size of Vienna sausage cans. Found some coins no silver that are soaking. Does anybody have any idea what these are? The tag is lead and dated 10-6-42. Going to post it on what is this also? DSC04853.JPGDSC04852.JPG

The thing on the left looks like a mangled and broken brass knuckles .. or iron knuckles ..or lead knuckles.

The tag on the right. i've dug countless similar ones along power lines... dating to the 1960s though.

I hate those Vi-anna sausage cans! They ring up like a half-dollar. :violent1:

Does look like some old knuckles on the left. Looks lead, is it easy to bend? Right looks like a tag off an old breaker box.. Cool finds

The knuckle thing is made of iron.
