Now that is a GOOD day of relic hunting. The pictures are GREAT also. Thanks for posting them. I think the back of the Barber Quarter is the best looking back of all the coins minted.

When you say relic hunting - you mean you had your discrimination all the way down digging everything? What detector are you using?

Was useing a Whites XLT. I have my own relic program I have pretty good luck with. We were hunting a civil war camp in the middle of no where. Had found some bullets and small brass in this field in the past. The spot that the quarter came out of I had hunted 2 or 3 times in years past. How did I miss it??? Just goes to show you a spot in NEVER and I mean NEVER cleaned out. Keep on digging.

I think I need to take up relic hunting. That is one very nice looking Barber quarter.
