Found at site mid 1800s?

Found these 2 clamp like pieces among other clamp objects of different shapes..other piece is large nut just thrown in picture...area was a site where something was manufactured in 1800s but cant find out what ..thought someone might reconize these as clamp1.webpclamp2.webp parts to something...carraige maybe?
 

Hmm, well the shape is right for a carriage's shackle brackets for the springs, but size is pretty small for that. I dunno

You are real close nhbenz .. Those are shaft couplings (aka shaft shackles) off of a wagon.

Did find other clamps of different configurations and some broken,but about same size...so possibly was a wagon maker/repair shop? Also what era you feel from...mid 1800s?
