Found at old home site...

Here is an item found over the weekend. Sorry no pic of back, but it is thin enough that the heron or crane and reeds are also on the reverse, as it was stamped into the thin piece of metal.
It is setting atop a soda bottle cap. Gives you an idea of the size. Looks like clips on the upper sides and in front bottom, the tang with the rounded knob is not attached to the 2 sides coming down to a point.

Not sure but, it appears to have been stepped on or driven over. Find it in an old driveway, yard, or field? Also, please post the dimensions of height, width, and thickness. Gives folks a headstart.

I thought the soda bottle cap might give a fair idea of size...but, here ya go.
About 2" long by 1.5" wide. Thin, well about as thin as the top of a "dip" tobacco container. And yes, it was found in an old field at the depth of 6". Like the title said "found at old home site".
