Used one of those to fix a barn once years ago. :icon_thumleft:
 

After getting it home I found that it's not stuck but rather just stiff...needs to be used. I am still going to clean it up though and repaint. I will get pics up soon.

Jersey, I only have one jack. After looking at the pictures I can see how it looks like a pair though. I don't know the history of it, however I wen't out to the scrap pile at the local dump and I saw it laying there. I love the old cast iron tools like this and really enjoy putting them through electrolysis and repainting them. I think it's important to save this old American history. So I grabbed it and brought it home. It was just to good to let go to the scrap yard. It really is in excellent condition and just needs to be cleaned up and painted. Although I really have no use for it, it's just cool!

Cleaned up nice people will pay money to have something like that on display in their homes. A lot of railroad collectors and those folks seem to have deep pockets.
