Found this today and very stumped. It says favorite near the spout and 50 above it. Was found in a 10 by 10 area where I found the bullets at. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

As often happens nowadays, when I saw the finder's photo I knew I'd used that particular "unidentified object" at some time in my past, but could not remember what it was. Thanks for the reminder, Taz.

I just used my reel tape last fall so I could still remember what it was.


Here is one that they say is 1850. So the handle you found might be as old as civil war era...
