Hey y'all, couple of items here found in the woods at a civil war site hoping you've seen before. First item obviously is some type of cutlery but it has a stylish B on it..info would be great. Second piece I have no clue, think its brass or copper. Thanks! Sorry for pic angles I don't know how to rotate them.

Second piece looks lime a hinge to a door, and on the first piece, is that a cursive B?

It's a cursive B. only marking I see

The piece with the B on it looks like the end of a spoon/fork or knife. I'm not sure what the other piece is.
