You have a 5 franc coin from Switzerland with what looks like a B mintmark which stands for Bern . It's not a 5 Rappen like the one in the link above. If yours is real then it's worth a lot more than the 55 dollars mentioned above. it could be worth several hundred. It has a pretty low mintage of about 225,000. This coin has been copied, counterfeited and replicated so.... i'd have it looked at by a pro. Here is one like yours--

That's alright it wasn't as bad as my button ID the other day. I thought early 1800's navy and it was early 1900's blazer. :-[ :laughing7:

Looks real enough & its a nice chuck of silver - good find,

that kid that lose his dad's prize coin is in trouble :D

Thanks for the ID, this coin was found by my uncle not me and it was an eyeball find to boot go figure. :icon_scratch:
