Keep it with the wood otherwise its just another brass spike from a shipwreck. Cool find. Not trash and it signifies old shipwreck nearby.

So many newby's here...maybe a ship wreck maybe an old repair that got thrown overboard. You are gonna have to do some research and figure it out and there are a lot of us here (like big cy and me) who would love to help if we can. Go investigate and we will help you all we can!
