Found at Auction...Treadle sewing machine

[AC1955]

Went to a local auction last night and came home with a Singer model 66 treadle machine in a six drawer cabinet...$20. I've been looking for a treadle for a few years now and even though the machine and cabinet needs some work, for $20 I think I got a great deal!

Can't argue with the price and a Singer Treadle will out sew many electrics on the heavy denim alterations. Most new machines, except the extremly high dollar ones, slip and/ or lock up on the thick materials. Good deal!!
