Approx 2" long, 1-1/2" wide copper piece. Probably flat at one time. Has clasps for leather and/or rod, stick, other leather rope?? No letters or numerals for markings, just designs...circles, lines, etc. Any ideas? Thanks! Chris kccj76@hotmail.com


Update: So. Kansas City, MO In the area of a Confederate campsite. Front yard, private home, MXT 4-5" deep. Same yard as this Staff button below

Maybe something like a paint can opener, or shoe horn. I think a "Corcle" is the round red mark on your forehead if you're careless when opening a champaign bottle.

Don't know what it is, but looks like it would be pretty if cleaned up, with the engravings visible. Whatever it is, looks like it was meant to be seen. -Noodle
