Found at 1760 house Not positive

My friend Howard found this at the house I found the 1786-7 Bust copper at.
We kinda think it might be a part of a candlestick holder, but not sure. I is solid
brass and 4 x 4 inches.

It looks like incense pots broken off a stand that would have had several pots.It doesn't look like it held candles.

the way the metal cups are set, it reminds me of
like an eye thing, but I never heard of anything for the
eyes made of metal...just a thought.
