Nice! some of that stuff is worth quite a bit. Where in Montana are you? Most of my family is from the bitterroot valley, I graduated from Stevensville High, now my folks live in Helena and I moved to Washington. Photos definitely look like Eastern Mt.
 

Yes there is a lot of petrified wood to be found in eastern Montana. You can even find opalized wood in more eastern part of the state. Thanks for viewing and your response. I do have some extra pieces that I would consider selling, I heard that others are selling in the $8.00 a lb., but I would consider selling for less to any TNET member.
