I have 3 gold ones and 2 silver ones now. They have 2 dates stamped into the coin and then seem to be plated. The one I found today is a 1983p with 1960 on one side of JFK and 1980 on the other. I thought I saw something on here before about them but not sure. Anyone know if they're worth my time in keeping them or not.
Thanks,
HH Tank

Your call on keeping it or not.

They were made to celebrate the 20th and 25th anniversary of JFK's assassination.

They were originally encased in a thin sheet of tight plastic for display, which was encased in a little sheet of blue cardboard with some JFK info and a serial number for the coin.

I want to say it was a Danbury mint job... but not sure... and I am too lazy to get out of bed to look at the one I have. =)
