found this today at the plantation, Chinese i think can make out (i think)TAL-CHINGATE KHO COPPER anyone got any idea? brass or copper, half dollar size

The kanji character in the center shows the province (Kiangnan). This coin is the correct provence but may not be the exact year. I can't read the number characters on the relic coin.

Great find! I see these coins listed on the net for $$$. Asking price for the one I pictured is $400.
